17 Days Tanzania Safaris

A Tanzania safari is a delight for all ages, and as such is an ideal family holiday. We’ve created many fabulous Tanzania family holidays – however, careful consideration and planning are required on many fronts when putting together an ideal family itinerary. The option of family suites (or extra beds), child-friendly activities, and special child rates vary enormously from the lodge to lodge.


Day 1

   The transfer from Kilimanjaro to Arusha for overnight, your professional driver guide will be waiting for you at the Kilimanjaro

Day 2

   The safari will be starting to Arusha National park via Tanzania Family Safari Holidays for the safari which is not far from the Arusha town and in the park, you will have a good and smooth game drive the diner and overnight at the same lodge in Arusha.

Day 3

   Early morning the safari towards the Tarangire National park for game drive, the park is the home of Elephants and the beautiful landscapes that the place within the rift where we can observe the hundreds of baobabs the trees with the big trunk which will support the Elephants during the dry season dinner and overnight at Angata camp in the park

Day 4

   It is another day to discover the Tarangire again for the full day game drive with lunch boxes or lunch to the camp and dinner and overnight at Angata camp.

Day 5

  Last game drive in the park the heading out of the park to Maramboi tented camp for the leisure at the camp, Maramboi tented camp is the best to camp for relaxing during the safari and having the walking safari around the area up to the lake Manyara, then dinner and overnight at Maramboi tented camp.

Day 5

   Morning departure to Manyara National park for the game drive with lunch boxes, in Manyara will be easy to see the Flamingos around the Lake Manyara which is saltwater and also some waterbirds, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, wildebeests, zebras and sometimes the big cats such as lions, leopard, and cheetah, but dinner and overnight at Maramboi tented camp.

Day 6

  Late morning safari towards the Mto wa Mbu village where by your guide was born there, the small village which posses more than 120 tribes which are native of the country than having the walking around the area to see the rice plantation, bananas plantation, and visit school and hospital which found there and then safari to the Lake Natron where we will have the dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Camp.

 Day 7

   Early morning the good walking towards the lakeshore to the Lake Natron, the area which is Ramsas site and the best place ecological for the breeding of Flamingos in East Africa, then back to the camp for lunch and late evening walking towards the lake Natron waterfall, which need the water shoes to reach there because the water can reach in kneels, then dinner and overnight at the same camp, Natron camp.

Day 8

  Around 8:30 am the safari start towards the largest nation in the northern part of the country will be a long drive trip but very enjoyable with African massage in the car all day, then get in the park around late afternoon then drive to the Angata camp in Serengeti.

Day  9

   The full game drive in Serengeti national park, the park which is playing the good part of Serengeti ecosystem, comprises Serengeti National park, Ngorongoro conservation area, Maasai Mara in Kenya and all the protected area around those areas, then dinner and overnight at the same Angata Camp.

Day 10

  The safari towards the western part of Serengeti then to the edge of Lake Victoria for having some activities around the lake such as canoeing, walking around the Ramadi village then back to Serengeti national park for dinner

Day 11

  The last safari in the central of Serengeti national park the safari towards the southern part of Serengeti but will be Northern part of Ngorongoro but will be the right to see the Great Migration of Wildebeest and Zebras in that areas, more than 2.5 million of animals do moving together looking for the green grasses and water, they may migrate more the 1000 kilometers a year, dinner and overnight at Ndutu camp area.

Day 12

   The safari around the Ndutu the area where we can off-road, we can get close to the animals as possible as we can because we will be driving off-road, dinner, and overnight Ndutu Camp.

Day 13

The same good areas with the Migratory and same camp for overnight.

Day 14

  Very early morning safari to the Ngorongoro crater for full game drive with picnic boxes then dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farmhouse out of the park.

Day 15

  The leisure at the Hotel via Family Safari Holidays then late afternoon the shortly walking around the local market in Karatu village which is in two times per month, every 7 th and 25th every mouth then back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at  Ngorongoro Farm House.

Day 16

 Another day, very early to discover the primitive people Hadzbe or bushmen, they are not more than 1200 people which are remaining today in the country, they are daily activities is hunting and we can go hunting with them in the bush and they will teach you how to use arrows and arch, then visit  another tribe known as Dathoga the local blacksmith in the bush then back to the hotel for lunch and relaxing at the same hotel

Day 17

Last day to enjoy your Family Safari Holidays at the hotel then after breakfast safari towards Arusha the lunch at Shanga restaurant in Arusha then back to Kilimanjaro for the flight back to Europe
